The Joint Legislative Committee to Screen Candidates for Boards of Trustees of State Colleges and Universities is accepting LETTERS OF INTENT to begin screening and qualifying candidates for the following seats.
South Carolina State Two congressional districts, two at-large
5th District, Seat 5
6th District, Seat 6
At-Large, Seat 8
At-Large, Seat 10
Wil Lou Gray Opportunity School At-large, four seats
Winthrop University One congressional district, one at-large
1st Congressional District
At-large, Seat 9
It is required by law that any person who wishes to offer as a candidate for a board position must notify the Legislative Screening Committee in writing of his/her intent to offer. THE DEADLINE FOR LETTERS OF INTENT IS 5:00 pm, WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 17, 2008. Correspondence should be addressed to:
